Need a list of recipes for your summer menu?
Whether it’s for your business or your home coffee bar, we’ve got a tasty list of recipes from our recipe binder to share!!!
In our coffee trailer we offer espresso based drinks and sodas/energy sodas. So this recipes list will reflect that. However, many of the recipes listed below will be pretty easy to translate over into whatever your shop specialties may be. We recently added Chai to our menu halfway through the summer due to popular demand and people love adding flavors from the coffee world and the soda world! It’s a nice option for people who don’t like coffee but also don’t want a sugary sweet soda. We use a chai concentrate from Oregon Chai that is shelf stable so its perfect for using in our tiny little coffee trailer.
Coffee or soda first?…….Always the coffee right?!??!
Side note: all of these recipes are for a 12oz hot or 16oz iced so adjust the pumps according to size.
Additional side note: in case of confusion….”caramel” is just the normal caramel flavoring syrup and “caramel sauce” is the thick super sweet ice cream topping like sauce
Summer Coffee/Chai Recipes
- Marshmallow- 1 pump white chocolate sauce, 2 pumps vanilla
- June Bug- 2 pumps blackberry, 2 pumps vanilla (this one is SUPER popular with our older lady customers for some reason)
- Firecracker Mocha- 1 pump dark mocha sauce, 2 pumps cinnamon
- Mama Bear- 2 pumps brown sugar, 2 pumps caramel
- Apple Pie- 1 pump apple, 1 pump cinnamon, 2 pumps brown sugar
- Strawberries n cream- 2 pumps strawberry, 2 pumps vanilla (again not my fave but super popular with the older gals)
- Werther’s- 1 pump caramel sauce, 2 pumps butterscotch
- Salty Karen- 2 pumps salted caramel, 2 pumps vanilla
- Rocky Ridge- 1 pump caramel sauce, 1 pump hazelnut, 1 pump vanilla
- Honorable mention: End of Summer Chai- 2 oz Chai concentrate (add milk according to recipe on bottle), 4 pumps white peach
Summer Soda Based Recipes
- Summer in a Cup- 2 pumps peach, 2 pumps pineapple/pina colada, 2 pumps raspberry
- June Bug- 3 pumps blackberry, 3 pumps vanilla
- Strawberries n Cream- 3 pumps strawberry, 3 pumps vanilla
- Peaches n Cream- 3 pumps white peach, 3 pumps vanilla
- Stars n Stripes- layer one is 4 pumps strawberry, add soda and ice…..layer two is 3 pumps of blue curacao on the top of the ice
- Dragonfly- 3 pumps blackberry, 3 pumps dragonfruit
- Summer Tango- 2 pumps mango, 2 pumps strawberry, 2 pumps white peach
- Black Widow- 3 pumps blackberry, 3 pumps pomegranate
- Caramel Apple- 3 pumps apple, 3 pumps caramel
- County Fair- 4 pumps cotton candy, 2 pumps strawberry
Yummy yummy recipes
We don’t have all 20 of these specials going at once mind you. It depends on the time of the summer it is and we try to only have two or three specials displayed at a time.
For example,
Mother’s Day we have the Mama Bear special. July we use the patriotic themed recipes. We attended a cute grandparents day event at the local historic theater and had the werther’s special.
All the others we rotate through and bring the more popular ones back every so often. Of course regular customers will order their faves even when not in rotation which is totally fine! For some reason a few of our older lady customers a HUGE fans of the blackberry and vanilla latter. I made it for myself and I have got to say it is not for me, but they literally hunt us down for it lol.
