Simple and Cozy Winter Coffee Recipes

The perfect winter recipes for your coffee shop or at home

Fall always has the good coffee fads. Let’s make sure the next season is just as tasty!

I mean winter deserves all the glory for warm and cozy drinks. Peppermint mochas. Hot chocolate. Eggnog. Mulled wines and ciders. Those are drinks memories are made of!

If you are just finding our little corner of the web…. welcome, and personally we hate weeding through long poetry writing and stylized pictures to find half decent recipes to use as inspiration for our specials we use in our coffee shop. Here it’s just a simple list consisting of the specials’ names and the amount of syrups or sauces to use.

Basic Notes

All of these recipes are for 12 oz hot or 16 oz iced drinks. Adjust according to the sizes you have. Recipes are guidelines not laws.

Caramel= the syrup caramel sauce= the thick and sweet ice cream topping-like product

1 pump of syrup= 0.25 oz 1 pump sauce= 0.5 oz

We’ve found most coffee recipes work well with our chai concentrate as well!

Holiday Specials

These were all really basic recipes that can easily be made during a rush. However, you can make it fun too!

Some ways to jazz it up!!!!

  1. Blended Hot Chocolate- pretty much a blended and icey chocolate frappe with whipped topping. You could line the cup in dark mocha for pizzazz
  2. Cool toppings- add all the whipped topping, sprinkles, chocolate shavings, dust with spices like cinnamon or nutmeg, drizzle sauces, add a cookie on top. You name it! And take pictures to post on social media to draw in the crowds
  3. Cool names- you don’t have to use the names above. Make a theme and come up with something silly or classic or even naughty!
  4. Stand Apart- If you notice a ton of shops in your area doing the same things, switch it up to stand out! Too many peppermint mochas around? Really push forward with another flavor like the turtle or cordial cherry and market the heck out of it on your socials!

Do you have any fun and tasty winter menu specials?

Best Wishes,

Ashley M
